By uploading Content, you grant FilmySheet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content as necessary to operate and provide the Services (for example, displaying your profile to other members, showing your script within a project workspace you have joined). This licence ends when you delete the Content or close your account, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law.
8.3 Your warranties. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have all necessary rights to the Content you upload; (b) the Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; (c) the Content complies with applicable law and these Terms.
8.4 Scripts and screenplays. Scripts created or imported using the Platform's writing tools remain your property. FilmySheet claims no ownership over your creative work. You are responsible for protecting your work through appropriate means (including copyright registration where desired). FilmySheet is not liable for any alleged copying or misuse of your scripts by other Users; disputes over script ownership or plagiarism are between the parties involved, though we will cooperate with lawful requests.
8.5 We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, or remove any Content that violates these Terms or that we deem objectionable, without prior notice.
8.6 Copyright complaints. If you believe Content on the Platform infringes your copyright, contact us with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement of good-faith belief and authority. We will act in accordance with applicable law.
9. Payments, Billing, and Tax Compliance
9.1 Platform role. FilmySheet provides tools to record, track, and report agreed payments between Users (for example, artist fees, crew wages, vendor payments). Unless expressly stated otherwise, FilmySheet is not a party to payment agreements between Users and is not responsible for ensuring payment is made.
9.2 Payment terms, timelines, deliverables, and dispute resolution for any engagement are the sole responsibility of the parties to that engagement. Users should formalise engagements through the Platform's digital contract tools or separate written agreements.

12.4 The confidentiality obligations in this section survive termination of your account.
13. Verification and KYC
13.1 The Platform may offer identity verification (including PAN, Aadhaar, and cancelled-cheque verification). Verification badges indicate that documents were submitted and checked through our process; they are not a guarantee of any person's character, creditworthiness, or professional ability.
13.2 You agree to cooperate with reasonable verification requests and to provide genuine documents. Submission of forged or fraudulent documents will result in immediate termination and may be reported to authorities.
13.3 Verification decisions are at our sole discretion.

16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FILMYSHEET, ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
16.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FILMYSHEET IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 10,000.
16.3 The limitations in this section apply regardless of the form of action and whether the alleged damages were foreseeable.
16.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
16.5 You acknowledge that the limitations in this section are a fundamental basis of the bargain and that the Platform would not be provided without them.
17. Indemnification
17.1 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FilmySheet and its owners, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or regulation; (e) your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (f) any dispute between you and another User; or (g) any tax liability arising from your transactions.

18.2 You may close your account at any time through the Platform's account settings or by contacting us.
18.3 Upon termination: (a) your right to use the Platform ends immediately; (b) we may delete your Content and account data, subject to legal retention requirements (including tax and financial records); (c) provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
18.4 Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination, including payment obligations to other Users.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
